Not known to many, exercise is further categorized into four: aerobic, anaerobic, strength training and agility training. It is important to know what type you are going to pursue because everybody has different exercising needs. Knowing what your body needs is an important step in achieving the body that you want.
Fat can accumulate in different areas in the body but is more pronounced in the belly area, thighs, upper arms and buttocks. Women are usually the more conscious ones when it comes to fat. Women’s bodies are naturally layered with fat, but too much of it can cause cellulite and other unattractive bulges. On the other hand, men’s bodies are leaner and have more muscle bulk than fat. Hence, they usually exercise to define their muscles or to sculpt their bodies.
Knowing what exercise program to use will increase your chances of getting a fitter body and avoid musculoskeletal injuries brought by wrong exercise prescription.
